Nara period was the 1300th anniversary of Tagajo, a base for people and goods exchanges including continental culture.
A flea market will be held at the north exit rotary of Tagajo Station based on the concept of "Rose Bowl Flea Market" on the west coast of the United States, with the aim of forming the best cultural exchange base in the Tohoku region and creating opportunities to experience foreign cultures and history in modern times.
