Manyo plants at the center of ancient Tohoku "Taga Castle Ruins"-A lot of Taga Castle flowers-
Date of the event Saturday, August 27, 2022
The Tagajo Flower Full Project is a project to welcome visitors to Motoichi with flowers planted with citizens for the 1300th anniversary of Tagajo's founding in 2024 (Reiwa 6).
Taga Castle was founded in the Manyo period. There must have been seasonal plants written in Manyoshu.
I would like to plant the many-manyo plants that are still blooming close to us at one corner of the ruins of Taga Castle and make them a place where you can feel the new charm of Taga Castle, which has Eternal History. We will hold a workshop on planting Manju Shaka (also known as red spider lily) as "Flower Full Project - Manyo Plant Edition - First Edition". There are lectures from flower professionals on how to plant, grow, and care. Let's fill Taga Castle with flowers!
