In Tagajo City, toward 2024 (Reiwa 6), the 1300th anniversary of Tagajo Castle, Tagajo was established on the outer edge of Tagajo Castle, which was an important facility that was exactly the entrance of Taga Castle, which was the center of politics and culture in Tohoku. We are carrying out restoration work of Taga Jonanmon.

The construction is proceeding as scheduled, and now the bare roof (scaffolding and sheet) has been dismantled, and you can temporarily see the entire south gate.

From March 2023, the restored Taga Jonanmon Gate will be closed again due to the construction of the Tsukiji fence, so the whole picture will be visible until early March.

The public exhibition will be open to the public in 2024 (2024), the year of Tagajo 1300.
