The 33rd Tagajo Ruins Iris Festival
Period Saturday, June 17, 2023 〜 Sunday, June 25, 2023
Tagajo Ruins Iris Garden is located in a corner of the special historic site, Tagajo Ruins. The Iris Garden, about 21,000 square meters in size, is full of 3 million iris sanguinea, rabbit ear iris and Japanese iris trees of about 800 species.
The atmosphere and color change depending on the weather and season, such as the iris sanguinea, which blooms in full bloom under the blue sky and the Japanese iris, which blooms moistly in the rain, so this year's Iris Festival has been revived for the first time in four years, including hands-on corners and vehicle displays. It is one of the attractions that you can enjoy no matter how many times you visit.
At this year's Iris Festival, experience corners and vehicle displays have been revived for the first time in four years, and we have prepared a plan for people of all ages to enjoy.
The flowering status and event information of iris sanguinea will be posted on the city website and SNS as needed.
