To commemorate the 1300th anniversary of Tagajo's founding, a public art has been created at Tagajo Ekimae Park with the cooperation of Tohoku University of Art and Design!

The title of the work is "The Scars of Inuta ~weave history"!

This public art is a project that has been planned with Tohoku University of Art and Design since November 2022, and in March 2023, a design competition was held to serve as a draft of public art for students of Tohoku University of Art and Design.

Panel display of 11 design proposals that had been applied at Tagajo City Library, and decided on works to be produced after voting from citizens and judging by professional artists.
