"Legende (Legend Song)"

This concert was written by composer Kazuo Kikkawa (Professor Emeritus, Miyagi University of Education)
We perform "Legende (legendary song)" for unaccompanied violin.

From composer Kazuo Kikkawa~

Immediately after receiving a happy story from Sunao Goko, "A new song for a performance at the site of the Tagajo Government Office and the castle government office," I would like to do this.…I decided to do it. If you are familiar with violin music, you may be associated with Wieniawski’s masterpieces. Hikaru Hayashi gave this title to the string quartet. Each feels the will of the composer who tries to remember real events in his memory. I would like to give this title to a new song performed in the 1300th anniversary of Tagajo. In the songs, the five sounds presented following the introductory variates and develops one after another, deepening the wind that had been blowing in the same way as it was in ancient times, and the feeling of history that will continue in the future.
