On August 25 (Sun), we will hold the "Tohoku Festival Project" commemorating the 1300th anniversary of Tagajo's founding!

The "Tohoku Festival Project" is one of the four major projects called the Tagajo 1300th Anniversary Project.

At this event, which marks the beginning of the event, festivals from the six prefectures of Tohoku gather at Tagajo.

The "Rhythm of Life" in the wadaiko of Atoa. (@wadaiko_atoa), based in Miyagi Prefecture, expresses the "movement" in a constant flow through dance at festivals in each prefecture.

The Tohoku region is a treasure trove of folk performing arts and festivals.
People have prayed and inherited various thoughts in the festival, including awe and rich blessings of nature, thanks to our ancestors, rich harvest and sound health.
