The Tagajo Ruins Iris Festival will be held for seven days from June 15 (Sat) to June 21 (Fri), announcing the arrival of early summer.
3 million iris sanguinea, rabbit ear iris and Japanese iris of 800 species are in full bloom in the Iris Garden, which is about 21,000 square meters in one corner of the historic site of Tagajo.

On Saturdays and Sundays during the event, traditional performing arts will be announced on a special stage in the park, and vehicle exhibitions and hands-on corners will be held, and product exhibitions and sales of friendship and exchange cities for the first time in five years.
Also, at the opening ceremony on June 15 (Saturday), the Sazae-san family will come and perform Tagajo dance, photography, rock-paper-scissors tournament, etc.!
