Held in special exhibition "Tagajo 1300"

It has been 1300 years since Tagajo, Mutsu Kokufu, was founded, the center of ancient Tohoku.
This is an exhibition that traces what role Taga Castle played and developed in this area, in relation to the trends of ancient capital and Tohoku, and the people involved in Taga Castle.
This is a unique opportunity to meet 20 national treasures and about 300 important cultural properties, including the newly designated Important Cultural Property "Taga Castle Ruins artifact in Miyagi Prefecture" this year.

●Schedule From October 12 (Sat) to December 15 (Sun), 2024
●Time From 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (issued until 4:30 pm)
●Closed every Monday (* Open on October 14 and November 4. Closed on October 15 (Tuesday) and November 5 (Tuesday). )
●Fee General 1,200 yen / Silver (65 years old or older) 1,100 yen, elementary, junior and senior high school students 500 yen
●In addition to the exhibitions, various events such as commemorative lectures and Taga Castle ruins exploration tours will be held as related events, so please come and visit us.
